Weber Basin Water Conservancy District
Weber Basin Water Conservancy District’s reservoir storage is at 222,000 acre-feet or 58% of capacity. Full capacity represents a two-year water supply. Upstream storage is at 68%. The district has been using their drought pumps to conserve upstream storage, which is necessary to make the exchanges on the Weber River. Willard Bay Reservoir active storage is 94,000 acre-feet. The district has dredged the pump inlet channel which will allow them to pump more water out of Willard.

Weber Basin has 36,000 acre-feet in Rockport (Wanship), 58,000 acre-feet in Echo, 54,000 acre-feet in Pineview, 6,900 acre-feet in Causey, 51,000 acre-feet in East Canyon, and 6,800 acre-feet in Lost Creek Reservoirs.

Weber Basin will continue to operate in a drought mode this year requiring a 20% reduction in irrigation deliveries. They are enforcing a no-watering time from 10:00 AM till 6:00 PM for the areas that they serve directly and are working with the districts and cities that they supply encouraging and helping them to pass ordinances requiring the same watering schedule.
